Crowfunding - Gaining funding for a project from an appeal to the public.
Crowdsourcing - Gaining assets for a project from an appeal to the public.

Globalisation - Way in which international boundries that once excisted are broken down by the advent of new technologies.
Examples of globalisation include: McDonalds, Starbucks and Disney

Global Reach
The way in which a product has the potential to reach a global audience owing to new methods of distribution.

Global Village - The idea that physical boundries between countires appear smaller owing to new media tehnologies and that because of this the world is actually one big village where everyone can communicate to each other in an instant. The theorist who discussed this orginally was Marshall
McLuhan (1964).

Crowdsourcing - Gaining assets for a project from an online apeal using social and online tools where by a global network can be reached for such assets due to the rise of global reach.

Crowdfunding websites include - Kickstarter was lauched for people needing to finance a project in 2009. More commercial
